My wife is a fantastic cook and devoted "foodie". The entire remodel project started with a simple request.
"can you fix these old kitchen drawers?"
This was definitely the beginning of a honey-do project, that got out of hand.
After the new studio was finished, I was able to fabricate all of the cabinets on site.
I also cast about forty linear feet of concrete counter tops and back splashes in the new addition before the floor was finished.
The kitchen sits in the "old house"and is the transition from the period living room to the modern addition. The cabinets are a stylistic update of the old frame and panel cabinets in the original kitchen.
The foot print of the kitchen is no bigger than the original, but my design makes use of much more efficient space planning.
